The aim of this Law is to define the principles and the terms of urban planning processes for the sustainable residential development of the areas of the cities and settlements of the country. Specifically, Article 8 is about the transformation of the areas, in which problems are identified. One of the categories that an area needs transformation is when large building densities exist and there are large shortages of common areas and spaces for public facilities.
