Technical instructions for the adaptation of existing buildings and infrastructure for their accessibility to people with disabilities

Ministerial Decision 65826/699/2020 – Greek Government Gazette 2998/Β/20-7-2020

According to the Decision, accessibility is defined as the characteristic of the environment, which allows all individuals, without discriminations, to access and use the infrastructure, but also the services and the goods available in the specific environment independently, safely and comfortably. Accessibility to the built environment is ensured through accessible design, in which the needs of people with disabilities are specifically taken into account, in order products, services and infrastructure to be used, as far as possible, independently by people with various disabilities.
